Questions about a conversion, a privacy request, or something broken? Email support@fileconverter.uk and a person will read it.
Support and bug reports
Email support@fileconverter.uk for anything that went wrong: a conversion that failed, a file that came out corrupted, a format pair that is missing, or output quality that did not match what you expected. We aim to reply within two working days.
It helps enormously if you tell us the source and target format, the approximate file size, and the browser and operating system you were using. We do not keep your files - conversions are processed and discarded - so we cannot look up a past job by reference. A description of what you did and what happened is what lets us reproduce it.
Privacy and data requests
For questions about how we handle data, or to make a request under UK GDPR, email support@fileconverter.uk with 'Privacy' in the subject line. Our full policy, including what is and is not retained, is set out on the Privacy page.
Because core conversion runs without an account and processing is ephemeral, in most cases there is no stored personal data associated with a conversion to export or erase. If you hold an optional account, that data is covered by the same request process.
Reporting a format or accuracy problem
The format guidance published across this site is written and maintained in-house. If you spot something inaccurate or out of date on a conversion page or in a guide, tell us which page and what is wrong. Corrections to technical claims are the feedback we most want to receive, and we update the page rather than quietly deleting it.
Advertising, press and partnerships
For advertising, press enquiries, API access at volume, or integration partnerships, email support@fileconverter.uk with the nature of the enquiry in the subject line. Developer documentation for the public API is on the Developers page.
Who we are
FileConverter is an independent, UK-based file conversion utility. We are a small software team, not a marketplace or reseller, and the tools on this site are built and operated by us. More about how the service works and why we built it is on the About page.
